Final Preparations

It's been a busy week. Students are finally done with mid-terms and we're all getting packed tonight. The final preparations are being done for every area of Sankofa. After a frenzied day, Amanda and I made a major trip to Sam's Club to buy food for breakfasts on the bus and food to pack for lunches during our service projects in Jackson. We unloaded everything back on campus, and when I left just before 8:00 p.m., Amanda still had a few things left to do in the office.

Please pray for all of our final preparations, for those we know are fighting colds, for all of us that are frazzled after an exhausting week, and for safe travels in the midst of spring snows, rainy forecasts, and flooding.

Trusting God's got it all under control! - Angela

Hey, Sankofa journey members. You're probably well south by the time you're reading this. I'm praying for you all as you seek God's best for you and for the people around you. I look forward to hearing the stories and seeing the fruit in your lives!

Hello Sankofa 2008! I am so excited that you have chosen to engage these important issues...my thoughts and prayers go with you!!! A special hello to all those I know personally...through travels (howzit SA team?) and through the grace of God. I look forward to reading the blog and hearing your stories when you return. May the wonder of God and the peace that surpasses all understanding be with you.
